Rec Baseball
The following grade based divisions are available for Medford's Recreation Baseball program this year:
- PreK / Kindergarten: Quick Ball (min age 3yo) - Learn More About Quickball here
- Kindergarten: Coach Pitch
- First Grade: Coach Pitch
- Second Grade: Kid Pitch Intro
- Third/Fourth Grade: Kid Pitch Minors
- Fifth/Sixth Grade: Kid Pitch Majors
- Seventh Grade & up: Babe Ruth
The anticipated timeline for the Recreation baseball season is April - May/mid June, and we are looking to add indoor winter skills sessions in March open to all players.
If your child has already been invited to play on a travel team, then you ONLY need to register for Travel Baseball. Therefore, if you have been invited to play travel and accepted that invitation, DO NOT register for Recreation baseball. Travel players can play in the Recreation league if they wish at no additional charge to the travel fee.
MYAA plans to have at least one, and hopefully two, 7U travel teams each year. Tryouts will be held in the Spring and a separate registration for 7U tryouts will be opened in April. All interested 7U travel players must register to play in the Recreation league
