The Giants were victorious again by a score of 3-1 in a very exciting outing with great all around play against a very tough and persistent opponent. But the big story is the composure the team maintained under pressure. Both Nick Killer Bee Buono and Mike The Magician DiLorenzo in separate innings found themselves in a frightening position with bases loaded and no outs. However, both were able to retire the opposing batters behind some gutsy pitching that showed their character as well as fantastic support in the field by there teammates. Some big bats also showed up for the game with both Nick Buono and Patrick Fireball Fryer hitting deep into the outfield to help move players around the bases. But the individual who shined the most that day and is showing the greatest improvement with each and every game is Kevin Kaboom Kenny who had two critical hits and drove in an RBI. He earned the coaches MVP honors for his performance. Its nice to see Kevin hitting the ball as opposed to the opposing pitchers hitting him which happened in each of the first six games of the season. The Giants continue to charge ahead as they improve their record to 7-1.
