The Pirates bounced back from the season's first loss with a 13-10 victory over the Yankees last Thursday.

Leading a long line of hitting stars, Jarret knocked in 4 runs while scoring 3 and going 2 for 2 with an inside-the-park homerun. Philip and Steve both scored 3 times each and Jacob scored twice on a pair of walks and some savy baserunning.

Mike, Conor and Sean L. each had multiple RBI games, Sean snapped a mild batting slump with a triple and a single along with a sacrifice fly.

The Pirates were able to overcome some defensive lapses in the field which saw them trail 5-3 after the first inning. A five run second and three more in the third built an insurmountable 11-6 lead.

Jarret pitched 3 solid innings, bookended by Steve and Sean L. as the Pirates raised their record to 5-1-1.

Jarret was awarded the gameball for his strong performance on the mound and at the plate.
