The Medford Microbes improved their record to 7-3 last night with a come from behind win over the Dilworth Paxson Diamondbacks by the score of 5-4. Nathan Titus scored the winning run on a pass ball in the bottom of the 6th to secure the win for the Microbes. Mark "Barry Bonds/Billy Wagner" Brusco added much fire power at the plate and on the mound. Brusco had two triples for the Microbes and had one of his most impressive pitching performances this year. By far, Brusco was throwing his hardest against his friend and Mad Dogs Team mate Eric Selitto. Sellitto one of the most powerful hitting 12 year olds in the state had two hits before coming to the plate against Brusco in the 5th. Sellitto fowled off several fastballs before striking out on a 70 mph inside fastball. Also, Paul Maneri had a triple to wall in left center for the Diamondbacks and Collier Green collected two hits for the Microbes. Great game by both teams!
