Q. When does the season start?

A. Typically the season will start around April 1st each year.  This may vary depending on a number of factors the most important of which is weather

Q. How long is the season?

A. REC season typically runs until about the first week of June.   Playoffs could run into the second week of June but the goal is to have 12 to 15 games plus playoffs completed by the first week of June.

Q. How do I sign up?

A. All baseball registration is done online. Please visit www.myaa.net to register.   Once you get to the home page click on the Registration tab on the top right of the page.  Next click on "GO TO ONLINE REGISTRATION".  If this is your first time registering for an MYAA sport you will need to create a user name and password to access the registration system. 

Q. When does Registration for Baseball open?

A. Typically registration opens around the 2nd or 3rd week of January each year.   Registration is open for about 4 weeks and then is still open but considered "LATE" after the set cut off date.   You can still register late but there is an additional $25 late fee to do so. 

Q. Where can I find the Schedule?

A. Short answer is on this website under the schedule tab.  Long answer is creating the Schedule is the single most difficult job within MYAA baseball.  Everyone typically wants to know what they are getting into but the schedule really can't be made until all the registrations are in so we know how many kids there are and hence how many teams at each specific age.   With limited amount of fields it is like putting together a puzzle each year when building the schedule.   The goal is to get each team 2 games and 1 practice per week.   This is why it is important to register on time because this process can't take place until registration is complete.   Adding a player late can change the number of teams and cause the person building the schedules to start all over again.
