Sometimes you're the windshield.. sometimes you're the bug

Sometimes you're the Louisville Slugger... sometimes you're the ball.
Thursday night Borden Realty lost 10-4 to Jarel Enterprises. They played better than we did. That will happen sometimes. We had our bright spots; Shocker LaPierre was ripping the ball, Shocker and Mike Stegmuller each turned in three solid innings on the mound. As a team we only had five hits and thirteen baserunners, far fewer than we had been averaging in our earlier games. Give some credit for that to the Jarel pitching staff who pitched well against us.
Let's get back on track by empahsizing our team goals:
Everyone puts the ball in play,
Everyone gets on base,
Be smart and aggressive on the bases,
Don't give the other team extra outs or extra bases,
Most importantly have fun.
If we do these things one play at a time the rest will take care of itself.
SATURDAY - Pictures at 5:30 at Hartford Crossing and then we'll head to New Egypt from there for a 7:00 game.
