The Protocall Starz got off to a rough start on Thursday evening losing their opener by not a little. OK it was a lot. Despite good pitching in the first inning by Ryan McGowan, the second inning reminded us that it is early in the season and more work needs to be done. Good relief efforts by Scott Lattimer and Kennan Gelfond could not hold the game tight enough. The high point of the game came in a final inning ralley by the entire team. Despite being down, the team demonstrated a true competitiveness that, I am sure will carry through the rest of the season. Good job. The Starz face Pemberton on Saturday. Tickets still available.
