Medford played the night cap against the Eastern NY winner from Queensbury NY. It was pitching duel with the teams tied 0-0 going into the bottom of the 4th. Medford went ahead 2-0 in the bottom inning with Queesbury coming back to tie in the top of the 5th. Medford countered with 2 more runnings in the bottom of the 5th taking a 4-2 lead into the top of the 6th. With 2 outs and 2 strikes the wheels feel off and Queensbury scored 5 runs.
Medford had a couple of runners on in the 6th but couldn't get a rally going. Games continue tonight starting at 5:30pm. Medford plays Saturday morning at 11:30am against the winner of the Frederick / Amherst game. Come join us for some great baseball.
