We saw our first loss of the season to Mr Grady's Merritt's Citgo 10-8. Shocker LaPierre went 5 strong innings on the mound, only allowing 1 base runner in two of the innings pitched. Robbie Tait continued to play strong, making several plays in center field. Team 'add-on' Scott Lattimer slammed a two run double, and played well in the field. First baseman Evan Okulanis got on base twice, and scored twice.
Catcher George Rudderow threw out a base runner at second, and shared the catching duties with Tyler Sterner, who also did well behind the plate. Paul Maneri continues to scare opposing pitchers as he drew two walks in the game, along with Bobby Schuck.
The 'Cast-man' Matt Heinkel made good contact on a pitch, which was caught...but was impressive.
Brendan Mahan had a strong throw from third on a nice play, and Joey Birminham continues to display hustle to make good plays.
The game ended after 5 innings of play on a great night for baseball!

Good job guys!
