On beautiful spring evening, Pro-Computer defeated Pemberton in a well played and well pitched game last night. Kevin Wagner collected four strikeouts in two innings. He was aided by flawless fielding by Michael Kempton on a charging put-out from short to first and by Brian McCormack pulling a down-the-line bullet out of the air at third. Two innings were completed by strong catching by P.T. Ranier who sqeeeeeeeezed a foul tip for the third out in the second inning.
In the third inning Anthony Montefusco threw ten pitches for three quick strike-outs. In the fourth, it was Kevin "Igotanewglove" McDowell pitching strong to get three more "K"s under his belt. In the fifth, Ryan McGowan threw just eleven pitches for three more quick strike-outs. Closer Matt Rosenfield fast-balled, slurved and otherwise mowed down three in the 6th.
Tight fielding and great relays kept Pemberton to three runs on three hits.
At the plate Pro-Computer was unstopable. With 14 hits in all, including a smash to the left-field fence by Anthony Montefusco, Pro-Source put up 14 runs in 6 innings. Well done.
