On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Meford, the A's moved one step closer, as they move to the championship game Monday Nite at 5:30 with a thrilling 13-12 win over the tough Kid Kutz Royals!!

The A's exploded for 4 runs in the first as Matt E and Jake added the power with a double and triple, it was Jakes 3rd triple in the last two games. The Royals answered with 2 of its own in the 1st to make it 4-2.

The A's bats thou could not be silent as they scored 9 times in the next 3 innings to take a 13-2 lead, but the game was far from over, as the Royals said never die, or it is not over until the last out (great job Royals). The Royals scored 5 in the 4th to close the score to 13-7 entering the last inning.

The A's went quite in the 5th and the Royals again rallied closed the gap to 13-12 with 1 out. The A's defense which was a little tense in the last 2 innings knowing the division was within their grasps and sending all the parents at the ballgame into a frenzy as everyone's heart was pounding as the last out was a ground ball to Matt E at shortstop, who flipped to James E at second to end the game and send the A's to the Championship Monday.

Want to thank all the parents for their donation of the PaPa John fund raiser and see you all Monday Nite.
