The Euksuzian Orioles clean-up hitter, Jim Turner hit a first inning three run home run that cleared the center field fence at Medford Lakes by an estimated 30 feet as the Orioles beat ML2 8-3. Jack August pitched a scoreless 1st inning and then went behind the plate where he threw out several runners attempting to steal. Jack also made two put outs by tagging runners who tried to score. One of those outs came with an assist from left fielder, Bradford Conners, who after backing up an overthrow of third base threw out the runner trying to score. Closer Jared Hendricks was pressed into extended duty by pitching three innings and giving up only 1 run. Jared and Jim Turner each had three hits while Eric Smith had two for the Orioles. Jack August, Tyler Adams and Bryan Spoltore each added a hit to the offense. An excellent team effort by the "Orange Crush".
